Amplify the Message

Not One Seat is a grassroots, cross-partisan organization aimed at denying Doug Ford another run at an election. The more people we are reach, the better.

Likeminded Groups

In a Zoom meeting for a volunteer or advocacy group who also doesn't like Ford? Drop a link to NotOneSeat.ca in the chat, or even copy and paste the following:

NotOneSeat.ca wants to whittle Ford down to a minority through strategic voting. Then the Opposition can unite and form government instead. Even if they don't, at least Ford is a lot weaker and can't do as much damage.

If you're in Toronto, sign the Unity Pledge, and NotOneSeat.ca will email you the best candidate in your riding to defeat the PCs.

Social Media - Ontario-wide

A network of people on social media who can amplify our message in a coordinated way is a powerful way to spread the word. Our main platforms are Bluesky, Instagram, Twitter/X (until the rest of your move elsewhere) and our Facebook page.

The more you share the message, the more people will see it. The more you interact and engage with our social media, the more people it will reach. We aim to post Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon, so follow us, check in and share.

For more impact, sign up to be an amplifier and we will contact you via DM when we have something important to amplify. (Bluesky users: contact will be by email until Bluesky has group DMs.)

Please remember: we are cross-partisan. Hatred or bigotry will not be tolerated.

We get it. Sometimes it's awkward to talk about politics with friends, but with so many Ford scandals in the news, lots of people are thinking about it, and it seems like lots of people are talking about it. (Or is that just me?) Let people know what you're doing about it.

Sample script - Toronto
"Hey, have you heard the latest news about Doug Ford? I'm really fed up with the guy. There's all kinds of rumours of a snap election coming soon, and I'm taking action with this group called Not One Seat. Basically, if he goes down to a minority government, the other parties can join together and take charge instead of him. So I'm pledging my vote for the candidate in my riding best able to defeat Doug Ford. Do you want do do the same? It's really quick.

Sample Script - Rest of Ontario

"Politicians are all the same. All this money on a sketchy spa in Toronto, and nothing for anyone else. I don't think Doug Ford is doing well without anyone to tell him no. There's supposed to be a snap election soon, and I'm going to vote for whoever seems likely to defeat the PC guy in this riding. I figure, if Ford goes down to a minority, the other parties can get together and try to remind him that there's a whole province of Ontario outside the GTA. There's this Toronto Group, Not One Seat, that has some funny memes and stuff and this other group called Cooperate For Canada that has some other information."

Real Life

Amplify the vote in real life with printable posters and flyers. These are great for public areas like libraries, cafes, churches, and poster stations near TTC stops. Each poster has a QR Code that will take them straight to the Unity Pledge.
